Hampton Roads Network For Nonviolence

Organization Structure

The Hampton Roads Network For Nonviolence is comprised of individuals representing many varied organizations, as well as individuals independent of representative responsibilities or ties.  The question of our relationship to other organizational bodies has come up at meetings. In discussion we have agreed to see the members of HRNN, its represented organizations and its affiliates as somewhat separate but still connected concentric circles working and building and strengthening in ever intertwining ways, while remaining free from an overall controlling hierarchical structure.

The Hampton Roads Network For Nonviolence is a relatively young group and has not yet found it necessary to incorporate, form by-laws, appoint a treasurer, establish a bank account, etc.

We currently work under the following guidelines adopted in September 2003:
